Group Happenings: This is a verse by verse study of one of the hardest to understand and most misunderstood books of the Bible, Revelation. Sept. 21 & 28 9:45 a.m., During the 1st Service Led By Tony Harris & Greg Driver Starting Gate is designed for anyone who is new to church or being a Christian, is exploring what it means to follow Jesus as a Christian, or is considering The People’s Church as their church home. But, the class is open to anyone! In this special class, You will discover: · How To Know You Are A Christian (and how you can share it with others) · The Blessing of Baptism (and why we do it the way we do) · What the Church Should Do For You (and why everyone needs a church home) This class will help you understand more about what it means to be a Christ-follower and help you better understand what's next for you in your spiritual development. It will allow you to better understand how you can discover, develop, and deepen your walk with Christ and is a great way to help you understand what The People’s Church is all about. After September: The class will be offered the last two Sundays of each month – so if you can only come one of the Sundays . . . come on . . . you can pick up the other Sunday next month.
