Imperfect.

We all are.

Some of us accept it more easily than others.

But, the ugly truth is, we are all less than perfect.

 So, we all need a place of acceptance.

 Come-as-you-are is a slogan we use at The People’s Church  to define a basic value of our church – you have to start with God, just like you are. 

That means we accept you, just like you are.

 This message series, “No Perfect People Allowed”, will remind us that God plays no favorites – and neither should we.  We accept saints … we welcome sinners.

COMING FROM TULLAHOMA AREA:

  Continue into Shelbyville on 41A. We are about a mile past the BP,on your left.

COMING FROM THE SHELBYVILLE DOWNTOWN/SQUARE:

  Take Depot St., off the square, towards Tullahoma. At the intersection,instead of turning right to go to Tullahoma -- turn left ... The church is about a mile on the left.

It means . . .

You don't have to dress up.
You don't have to be any particular age, economic background, ethnic group, etc.

Please don't feel the need to pretend about anything. 

The People's Church is a place where God meets seeking people who are far from perfect. 

That means ANYONE is welcome, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.  You can learn at your own pace ... ask questions ... seek. 

We believe you'll find what you're looking for.  You'll learn how to relate to and follow God.  You'll experience a Christian community.

And here's the big thing:  You will change.  Join us as we seek God together.  Just come as you are.
